What a FANTASTIC Podcast!! I was riveted to every moment, and cannot wait to hear the second part! THANK YOU so much for this incredibly close look at the Star Wars 1 and 2. Jeff’s invaluable input about working with George Lucas at ILM (including sound effects and perfectly capturing George’s voice) brilliantly reveals to the rest of us just what that experience was like. How wonderful!
“Satan’s rotoscope!” Hah! A terrific, incisive look into how things get done, not just in special effects, but in the film business in general. A hilight of the interview is a pretty hilarious imitation of George Lucas. Gives me a new appreciation for episodes 1 & 2. And for C-3P0! And for the laundry demands of motion capture! Mesa say GREAT podcast!
